Celestial Saga

Dara, Jubei, Donna, and Circe stumbled upon a trap laid by a group of hunting orcs, who were trying to capture a fleecemane lion, a majestic beast with a golden mane and a fierce roar. The orcs had prepared a large cooked meat as a bait, and hid in the bushes, waiting for the lion to appear.

However, Donna and Jubei, who were hungry and careless, spotted the meat and ate it without hesitation. They did not notice the orcs, who were furious and outraged by their actions. The orcs emerged from their hiding places, and confronted the adventurers, demanding compensation and retribution.

The adventurers tried to reason with the orcs, but the orcs were stubborn and aggressive. They wanted to take Donna and Jubei as prisoners, and use them as slaves or food. They also wanted to take their weapons and belongings, and claim them as trophies. They threatened to kill Dara and Circe, if they interfered.

The situation seemed hopeless, and a fight was inevitable. However, at that moment, the fleecemane lion appeared in the clearing, attracted by the smell of the meat.

Donna and Jubei, who felt a connection with the lion, offered it some of their remaining food, and tried to calm it down. They spoke to it in a gentle and respectful tone, and praised its beauty and strength. The lion seemed to appreciate their gesture, and approached them cautiously.

The orcs, however, saw this as an opportunity, and decided to attack the lion. They hoped to capture it alive, and present it as a gift to their chieftain. They thought that the lion would make a great pet, and a symbol of their power. They charged at the lion, with their weapons raised.

A gruesome fight broke out, as the adventurers and the lion defended themselves against the orcs. The orcs were numerous and savage, but the adventurers and the lion were skilled and brave. They fought with their weapons and magic, and inflicted heavy casualties on the orcs.

During the fight, Circe revealed his secret: he was a hexblade, a warrior who wielded a cursed sword that granted him dark powers. He used his sword to curse and weaken the orcs, and to unleash blasts of eldritch energy.

The orcs were eventually defeated, and driven away, and the party and the lion parted ways. The adventurers continue their journey to Vale…
