Of the Elves

·

Elves are a proud and ancient race, who have lived in harmony with nature for millennia. They have witnessed the rise and fall of many civilizations, but have always remained aloof and indifferent to the affairs of men. They value beauty, wisdom, and art above all else, and disdain the violence, greed, and folly of man.

The war between Lancaster and Elmwood has aroused the curiosity and contempt of the elves, who see it as a futile and tragic struggle for power and glory. The elves view the conflict of man as a drama, a spectacle, a tragedy. They watch from afar, amused and saddened by the folly of the mortals, who waste their lives and resources on a war that will only bring ruin and sorrow.

But the elves are not immune to the charms and passions of the human race. Some of them have developed a fascination and sympathy for the humans, especially the champions of the two kingdoms, who display courage, honor, and skill in their quest for victory. The elves are drawn to the human champions, who embody the ideals of heroism and romance that the elves admire and envy.

Torn between their loyalty to their own kind and their attraction to the humans.

Should they intervene in the war, or remain neutral? Should they help the humans, or hinder them? Should they love them, or hate them?

There is conflict, and within their collective turmoil, is a mirror of mankind.
