"One spark can light the heavens, one soul can shatter eternity!"

Path of the AbyssWalker

The Abysswalker moves with a primal, untamed grace, each step a dance with death itself. Their combat style is aggressive and relentless, a whirlwind of strikes that leave their enemies reeling. Yet, there is a certain elegance to their fury, a beauty in their destruction. They fight not just with their body, but with their spirit, their very soul a weapon against the darkness.

Despite their fearsome presence, there is a certain melancholy to the Abysswalker. They carry the weight of their path heavily, a silent testament to the sacrifices they have made. They are warriors, yes, but also guardians, standing vigil against the darkness, a beacon of hope in a world teetering on the edge of the Abyss.

Abyssal Might

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your rage burns with the dark intensity of the Abyss. While you’re raging, any melee weapon attack you make deals an extra 1d4 necrotic damage.

Abysswalker’s Leap

At 3rd level, your jumping distance is doubled. In addition, when you make a melee weapon attack as part of your action on your turn, you can use a bonus action to leap at a creature within your weapon’s reach and strike it with your weapon. This attack deals an extra 1d8 damage of the weapon’s type.

Dark Resilience

At 6th level, you gain resistance to necrotic damage and your hit point maximum can’t be reduced. In addition, when you start your turn with no more than half of your hit points left, you regain a number of hit points equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1).

Abyssal Surge

At 10th level, you can channel the power of the Abyss to enhance your physical abilities. As a bonus action, you can end your rage early to gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your Barbarian level + your Constitution modifier, and you gain advantage on all Strength and Dexterity checks and saving throws until the start of your next turn.

Walker’s Resilience

At 14th level, your constant exposure to the Abyss has made you incredibly resilient. You gain resistance to all damage types except psychic while you’re raging. In addition, when you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can choose to drop to 1 hit point instead. Once you use this ability, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
