The leader sat across from me on the floor as his goons encircled us to spectate I went through my usual process of shuffling, and quickly got to the matter at hand

Shifty Guy-

“Hey get on with it so we can get back to business!!”

Emi-

“…..

“Someone got in contact with your group, and promised a large reward if you were to bring me to a location.”

Shifty Guy-

“Heh, don’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out.”

Emi-

“It seems like it won’t end well for you, due to the presence of the hanged man”

Shifty Guy-

“What did you say?”

The Hanged Man

All of the guys broke out into laughter and jeers, as though they were watching a comedy

Shifty Guy-

“Welp, that was fun and all, but now we’re gonna get back to where we were with you. Now shut the hell up and come with us!”

Emi-

Shifty Guy-

“Hahaha, you thought your little magic truck would change anything!?”

Emi-

He mistook my expression as being intended for him.

When in reality, I was guffawing at what was barreling into my apartment at mach speed..

Shifty Guy—

Emi-

One of the men turned around just in time to see a knee crash into his face. The original confidence of the group soon gave way to panic

Shifty Guy-

“Who the hell!?”

Emi-

As one of his flies past me, collapsing with a broken face, another one gets uprooted, rocketing right out of the front door with a scream

“A bunch of guys preying on a woman? If you wanna party, then I’ll be your opponent!!”

“So, who’s up first!!!?”

Emi-

My neighborhood is generally peaceful. It mainly houses white collar workers, and those enjoying humble retired life.

There is, however, one acquaintance who almost single handedly makes up for this tranquility.

That person is my neighbor, Nakamura Sano.
